Longer nights just mean you can start drinking earlier...
Summer is over. Gone for another year. It's already September and that means Christmas is basically around the corner. Before you know a certain red lorry will be on the TV and you'll be up to your eyeballs in Brussels sprouts, crackers and unwanted socks.
However, before the madness of the Holiday period hits, we've still got Autumn to get through and to help you with that we ordered some delicious beers to tide you over.
Verdant - People Do Odd Things - DIPA
Another 8% DIPA from the Falmouth haze masters. Expect huge tropical notes and Verdant's signature pillowy mouthfeel.
Cloudwater - The Interiors of Striving Organisms - DDH Pale
A one-off DDH Pale using the same malt base as their core range beer but hopped with 2018's hand picked Yakima crop (Citra and Mosaic) which recently featured in Cloudwater's CY18 series of beers. Notes of tangerine, passion fruit with a light resinous bitterness.
Polly's Brew Co - In Colour - IPA
New from the Polly's 'Augment Range'. An IPA bursting with juicy fruits due to a hefty dry hop of Citra, Columbus, Ekuanot and Simcoe and fermented with 'London Ale 3' yeast to double down on the fruit salad.
Polly's Brew Co - Ekuanot Mosaic IPA
Two heavyweight hops feature in this hazy IPA bringing forth pithy orange notes and other complex aromas and flavours.
Pomona Island - Hissing Fauna - DDH Pale
Pomona Island do two things. Make exceptionally good beer and then put it into exceptionally pretty pastel cans. This is a fresh DDH Pale with white wine notes, courtesy of Hallertau blanc, coupled with tart gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin.
St Mars of the Desert - Jack D'Or Reincarnation Number 2 - Saison
The team behind 'St. Mars of the Desert' (Sheffield) used to run 'Pretty Things' brewery on the other side of the Atlantic (in Boston) and this is a reincarnation of their beloved flagship beer.
Northern Monk - Passion Fruit Lassi Heathen - Fruit IPA
Northern Monk - Mango Lassi Heathen - Fruit IPA
Two twists on Northern Monk's IPA 'Heathen', these beers are a homage to the Indian smoothie of the same name.
Mills Brewing - Clomp - Flanders Red Ale
At the time of writing this, we only have two bottles left in stock.
This beer is made from a strong red wort, produced all the way back on the 1st of November, aged in four Bordeaux wine barrels (red and white) for 18 months, and then dry hopped with Amarillo, Mosaic and Ekuanot.
